Class Profile: Cardio Tai Boxing

Are you looking for a new way to shake up your workout routine? Try an old favorite -- Cardio Tai Boxing is back at i.d. gym

Don't worry that you need boxing or martial arts experience to try Cardio Tai Boxing, available every Thursday at 5:30 pm.

For this group-fitness class, all you have to know is how to punch, kick and have a good time.

Led by Raegan Lindeke, Cardio Tai Boxing offers you a total body workout that burns calories, tones muscles and increases flexibility in just 45 minutes. 

This intense, high-energy class also is a great way to relieve stress after a long day at work, and you may even learn a few self-defense moves for the mean streets of the city. 





"A typical class includes a quick five minute warm up, followed by 35 minutes of an intense cardiovascular workout, then a five minute cool down," instructor Raegan Lindeke said. "We continually move -- hopping, jumping, shuffling, pivoting -- while we use punches and kicks in order to make simple kickboxing combinations and series of combinations."
