Workout Mashup: Treadmill Bootcamp and...

A "MASHUP" IS A TERM TYPICALLY USED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY TO DESCRIBE THE BLENDING OF TWO SONGS THAT YOU WOULDN'T IMAGINE GOING TOGETHER BUT END UP SOUNDING TERRIFIC ONCE THEY'RE MIXED INTO ONE. WE CONTINUE OUR MASHUP SERIES BY PROVIDING YOU WITH TIPS ON SOME WINNING COMBINATIONS TO INTENSIFY YOUR WORKOUT.

Mashup #1 - Treadmill Bootcamp and Buff Yoga:

Treadmill Bootcamp is a heart-pumping routine that builds strength, speed and endurance. After one of these classes, you may very well be ready to take it down a few notches with Buff Yoga. But Buff Yoga isn't your grandma's yoga class -- it combines traditional yoga and body-sculpting exercises that will leave you tone, firm and blissed out.

Mashup #2 - Treadmill Bootcamp and Dancer's Body:

While many i.d. members think Treadmill Bootcamp is the hardest class on the schedule, others think Dancer's Body is the one workout that may be even more challenging. In Dancer's Body, you'll get a lean, strong body through a fusion of Pilates and Barre exercises. These exercises target the hips, glutes, thighs and abs for a killer workout that will leave you sore in the morning.

Mashup #3 - Treadmill Bootcamp and Body Sculpt:

Treadmill Bootcamp is all about giving you an intense workout that builds muscles and cardio health. By pairing this class with Body Sculpt, you'll find even more ways to develop strength and get leaner. In Body Sculpt, you'll use hand weights, resistance tubing and BOSU trainers to target every part of your body -- at least the parts that Treadmill Bootcamp didn't already reach!

Treadmill Bootcamp may be the hardest workout in Chicago! In this class, you run on a treadmill to build up your speed and endurance. And if that's not enough for you, we add in military-style bootcamp drills for strength, so that you can push yourself to your limits. How do you complement this awesome workout? Here are a few ideas.
