A "MASHUP" IS A TERM TYPICALLY USED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY TO DESCRIBE THE BLENDING OF TWO SONGS THAT YOU WOULDN'T IMAGINE GOING TOGETHER BUT END UP SOUNDING TERRIFIC ONCE THEY'RE MIXED INTO ONE. WE CONTINUE OUR MASHUP SERIES BY PROVIDING YOU WITH TIPS ON SOME WINNING COMBINATIONS TO INTENSIFY YOUR WORKOUT.

Mashup #1 - CrossFit and Spinning

CrossFit takes you through a variety of drills that incorporate endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination and accuracy. You can build upon these CrossFit workouts with Spinning, a group-fitness class that helps you achieve many of the same goals while jumping, jogging, sprinting and climbing on a stationary bike. You'll find your endurance will get a boost after just a few classes.

Mashup #2 - CrossFit and Fly Yoga®

You can create a well-balanced workout routine by combining the physical intensity of CrossFit with the mobility and mindfulness of Fly Yoga. If you've been afraid of the yoga studio, you'll find that this group-fitness class improves your range of motion and relaxes your mind by blending together strength and flexibility with breathing and focus. You'll also take your workout to new heights!

Mashup #3 - CrossFit and Dancer's Body

Some people tell us that CrossFit gives them the hardest workouts they've ever had, but many of these folks haven't yet tried Dancer's Body. This class, perhaps deceptively one of the toughest on the group-fitness schedule, helps you get a lean and strong body through a fusion of Pilates and Barre exercises. Target the hips, arms, butt, thighs and abs for a killer workout that will leave you sore tomorrow!
